He is survived by: his children, Steven Wakefield Jr. (Kim), Brandon Wakefield (Kelly) and Melissa McComb; and his grandchildren, James Wakefield, Chase Wakefield, Leighton Wakefield, Atlee Wakefield, Owen Wakefield, Brenner Wakefield, Charly Thompson, Brody Thompson, Amanda McComb, Bubba McComb, Paige Newman, Hope Newman and Marilyn Newman.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Steve's honor to Fishers of Men or Crossroads Fellowship Church in Madiosn, Tennessee.
