He was predeceased by: his parents, Baker Odessa Stokes and Thelma Stokes (Jones); his wife Eloise A. Stokes; and his daughters, Judy Craft and Becky Dossett (Craft).
He is survived by: his sister Mildred Payne of Goodlettsville, TN; and his grandchildren, Amber Dossett Roeder of Hopkinsville, KY and Ben Dossett of Hopkinsville, KY. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
