Ronald Lee Sampson Obituary
Ronald Lee Sampson, 72 of Goodlettsville TN passed in peace at home surrounded by his loved ones on September 23, 2021.
Ron was born Alexander VA and worked in Washington DC as a federal agent from Home Land Security and before that an agent with ATF. He a war hero, he was a medic in the army, he lost his leg in Vietnam, and was shot in the shoulder. Both times Ronnie was wounded providing life-saving measures to others. He was awarded two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts.
Ron was survived by his wife Robin, children Tammy, Connie, David and Christopher. Step children Belinda Scarlata, Rebecca Scarlata, Daniel Scarlata, Regina Grower, Anthony Scarlata, and Michael Scarlata. His siblings Chris Sampson and Sherry Zacharias.
Preceding Ronnie’s death were his parents Arthur and Betty Sampson, brothers Arthur, Mike and Wayne Sampson and step daughter Victoria Danico.
His family intends for his burial to be at Arlington National Cemetery.
