He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Overton and Merrill Overton; his grandparents, Stewart, Virgie Bachman, Leonard and Euna Overton; his uncle Paul; and his aunt Annie Laura Owens.
He is survived by: his sibling Oaks Farm; his wife Regina Cliburn Overton of Goodlettsville; his daughter Amanda Overton Hargis (Joey); his granddaughters, Rebecca Lauren Hargis and Sarah Ann Hargis; and his cousin Linda Mandino (Joe) of Bolivar.
