He is survived by: his wife Lena Spaulding Marklein; his sister Joan Marklein Kniep; his sons, Jim Marklein (Karen) and Jonathan Marklein (Becky); his grandchildren, Lacey Shannon (Ryan), Lauren Marklein, Claire Ward (Davis) and Landon Marklein (Maycee); his great grandchildren, Leighton, Marlee and Roen; and his grandson Cade.
