He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Burns; his parents, Malcolm Burns and Irene Brady Burns; and his brother Howard Burns. He is survived by: his brothers, Frank Burns and Jimmy Brady; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Burns and Barbara Self. He is also survived by several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
