We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2023, at the age of 87, Richard Wayne Allen (Goodlettsville, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omel Belverage and Nancy Etta Myatt Allen; his daughter Lee Ann Goodwin Buckner; and his wives, Nancy C. Bush Allen and Bonnie Gilbert Allen (Dottie Dillard).
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Allen-Mozzi (Paul), Richard P. Allen (Mary) and Margaret B. Allen (Jeff Turner); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Joseph, Kyle, Ryan, Lillian, Heath, Jamie, Emily, Jessica, Gabriel and Summit; and his great grandchildren, Southerlynn, Liam, Ryleigh and Marit.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
