He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Chinique and Amalia Ortega; his wife Joyce Caperton Chinique; his sons, Osqui Chinique and Ricci Chinique (Myria); and his siblings, Louis Chinique and Delia Chinique.
He is survived by: his son Stephen Chinique of Goodlettsville, TN; his daughter-in-law Myria Rank of Springfield, MO; and his brothers, Berto Chinique (Cuqui) of Hialeah, FL and Elio Chinique of Hialeah, FL. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
