He was predeceased by: his father Charles Ross Thompson, Sr.; and his brother Charles Ross Thompson, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Mary Thompson; his sisters, Stephanie Mathis (Ron) and Barbara Lee (Steve); his niece Amanda Cortese (Ross); his nephew Joseph Lee; his great-nephews, Nolan and Sutton Cortese; and his cousins, Glenn Bloodworth (Dodie) and Kathy Bloodworth.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
