She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddeus Brew and Woodford Brew; the father of her children Garold Backman, Sr.; and her children-in-law, David Charles Morgan and LuAnn Backman.
She is survived by: her children, Garold Duane Backman, Jr. (Kathy), Richard David Backman, Michael Dennis Backman and Cynthia Lynne Morgan; her siblings, Thaddeus Brew, Thomas Brew (Glenda), Charles Brew, John Brew (Kim), Miriam Cook (Larry), Madeline Demoss and Dorothy Burns; her grandchildren, Sonja, Michael Backman, Josh Backman (Chelsea), Christy Martin (Chris), Sean Backman (Ashley), Jessica Backman and Tammy Morgan-Ferguson (Erik); and her great grandchildren, Karen Backman, Caleigh Martin, Raelin Ferguson, Caiden Martin, Brody Townsend, Cailer Martin, Abigail, Ethan Backman, Melanie, Conner and Collin Backman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
