She was predeceased by: her father George Lane; her husband Donald Ray Douglas, Sr.; and her brother George "Kayo" Lane. She is survived by: her children, Donald R. Douglas, Jr., David Michael Douglas, Daniel Lee Douglas (Herme), Melissa Karen Douglas and Julianne Douglas; and her brother Ronald Winfield Lane (Joycann Pinkston). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
