He was predeceased by: his father John L. Luther; his wife Ruby Mae Hardaway (Miller); his daughters, Tammy Hardaway and Anita Smith; and his brothers, Roy Leon Hardaway, Douglas Hardaway and William Hardaway.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Sircy (Jeff) and Kenneth Hardaway Jr. (Connie); his grandchildren, Angel, Katie, Joey, Garrett, Brandon, Nina, Jacob, Nichole, Troy Jr. and Cory; and his sisters, Ann Ford, Edith Hornal, Alice Hardaway and Nancy Frakes. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
