He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbin Nixon and Elizabeth Nixon (Sims); and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his daughter Gayle Writesman (Mark) of Goodlettsville, TN; his grandson Cole Writesman; his brothers, C. L. Nixon (Janet) and Jack Nixon (Brenda); and his aunt Marian Riddle. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
