He was predeceased by: his parents, B. E. "Bunt" and Gladys Clemmons; and his nephew Jonathan Clemmons. He is survived by: his wife Marion Alys Clemmons; his daughters, Krista Huffman (Stuart) and Tracey Smith (Jarrod); and his siblings, Billy Clemmons and Faye Woods. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
