He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Cherry Hardin and Juanita Mazie Hardin; his wife Carol Sue Hardin; the mother of his children Bettye Bobbitt Hardin; his son James R Hardin II (Dick); his son-in-law Kevin Monaghan; his grandchildren, Ashley Brooke Hardin and Erich Blakely Hardin II; and his siblings, Ann Phillips (Red), Gerneil Cary (Bill), Edgar Hardin (Margaret), Sarah Covington, Austin Hardin and Kay Rutherford (Richard).
He is survived by: his children, Erich Blakely Hardin and Juana Brooke Hardin Monaghan; his sister Rita Erwin (Billy Joe); his stepchildren, Lisa Williams (Jack), Gina Ward and Nick Garcia; and his grandchildren, Shana, Jay, Rachel and Adeline.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Connell Memorial Methodist Church (113 Church St, Goodlettsville, TN 37072). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
