He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Allen and Mona A. Martin Allen; his wife Melba J. Allen (Byram); and his daughters, Lee Ann Carlton and Tina Polson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Malone (Hollis), Marta Allen, Chelli Allen, Lynn Marlow, Ruth Ann Marlow and Lorraine Stella (Tony); and his sister Jean Judd. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.

“I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. I met Martin as I visited my Dad at Grace Manor. Recently I gave become a Dietary Aid so as to be able to visit inside. I have come to know and enjoy the company of the residents and Mr. Allen was truly a favorite. He would be sitting in the dining room upon my arrival. I would say How are you? His response was always Fine! You? Made me chuckle as he would say 'get to it' with a great big smile. I was with him on that Friday and he was Happy!”
