He was predeceased by: his former wife Rita Lee Hayes; his son Lee Allen Hayes; his parents, Anna Hayes and Allen Hayes; and his siblings, Jack Hayes, Ann Craddock, Ruth "Darlene" Goddard, Elizabeth "Bootsie" Dedmond, Frances Harris and Mary Jean Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Beach Hayes; his daughter Lorre Hayes; his daughter-in-law Amy Hayes; his grandchildren, Blake Hayes (Mady), Nick Hayes (Olivia), Rita Ellis (Cage) and Anna Killingsworth; and his great grandchild Mila Lee Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Boys Town.
