She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Loura Vaughn Goff; her husband Charles Dennis Patterson; and her brothers, John L. Goff, Dayton M. Goff and James W. Goff.

She is survived by: her son James D. Patterson (Debra); and her sister Wilma Pottinger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
