It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Annette Smith (Goodlettsville, Tennessee), born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Allen and Elma Albarez Brown. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Dean Smith; her children, Jeannie Torres (Greg), Stacy Smith (Jill), Kahne Vaughan (Donald) and David Smith (Lisa); and her sisters, Barbara Moran (Roy), Judy DuBos (Bob) and Sue Harding. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Annie Armstrong Foundation.
