He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guy Hughes and Maxine Trambley Hughes; and his brother Richard Lee Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey L. Hughes and Kristen Hughes; and his siblings, Cheryl Watson and Ronald R. Hughes (Judy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
