She was predeceased by: her parents, James Malcomb and Ann Sawyer Parnell, Sr.; her husband Billy Ray Pruett; her daughter Jina Jones; and her siblings, Nancy Krech and Larry Parnell.

She is survived by: her daughter Jamie Carr; her grandchildren, Holly Jones, Ryne Carr (Lindsey) and Katie Jones; her brother Jimmy Parnell (Joan); her brother-in-law Martin Pruett (Shirley); her son-in-law Tony Jones; and her great grandchildren, Vivienne and Caroline Carr.
