She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Paskel and Cora Belle Barnes Adams; and her husband Beecher Ray. She is survived by: her children, Judy Lovvron, Earl Phillips (Wanda) and Zerrell Phillips; her siblings, Peggy Fragopoulos and Hugh Adams; her grandchildren, Dean Smith, Jessica Smith, Josh Phillips and Kaycee Barnabi; and her great grandchildren, Erin, Eric, Evan, Eyan Smith, Zoey, Janie Phillips, Alyvia and Wesley Barnabi.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
