She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Parsons (Bill); her parents, John Scruggs and Floris Scruggs; her siblings-in-law, Robert L. and Lillian Allen Parsons; and her son-in-law David G. Pemberton.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Burton (Steve) of Kennesaw, GA and Leigh Ann Pemberton of Goodlettsville, TN.; her grandchildren, Geoff Pemberton (Christine) of Louisville, KY, David Pemberton (Chandler) of Nashville, TN, Mary Harper Stafford (Cory) of Goodlettsville, TN and Ashley Burton (Faith) of Culleoka, TN; and her great grandchildren, Leighton Mae Pemberton of Nashville, TN, George Layfield Pemberton of Nashville, TN and Riley Hayes Stafford of Goodlettsville, TN..
