He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Bennett and Martha Bennett; his wife Jeanette Peery Bennett; and his sisters, Annette B. Ralph and Nancy Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Bennett, Yvonne Bennett Leggett (Mike) and Jeff Bennett (Jan); his grandchildren, Brandy McWilliams (Andy), Banica Crockett (Ian), Brice Bennett and Kristen Bennett; his great grandchildren, Olivia McWilliams, Andrew McWilliams, Ian Thomas Crockett, Elea Rhea Crockett, Campbell Crockett, Isaac McWilliams and Eli Crockett; and his sister Barbara Dildy. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
