She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Garrett Reynolds; her sister Vondell Covington Powell; her granddaughters, Jennifer Newsome (Todd) and Lee Ann Reynolds; and her great grandchildren, Aydin Reynolds, Finn, Zander and Sophie Newsome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
