Doris Sowell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Sowell (Goodlettsville, Tennessee), born in Taft, Tennessee, who passed away on September 28, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hentz and Carrie Hentz; her husband Enoch Sowell (Flint); and her siblings, Francis Thompson of Fayetteville, Bobby Hentz of Houston, TX and Clyde Wayne Hentz (Joe) of Hermitage.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Bauman of Nashville; her grandsons, Erick (Matthew) of Nashville and S. C.; and her great grandchildren, Smith, Gray and Ever.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Sowell's honor to the Disaster Relief Fund of East End United Methodist Church at 1212 Holly St. Nashville, TN 37206.
