He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Johnson and Ethel Johnson of Durham, NC.; and his brothers, John Dancing Crow Johnson and Robin Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Johnson; his children, Joy Senter, Brandon Conner (April) and Rachel Conner; his grandchildren, Eliza Miller, Janette Roberts, Allie, Myles Conner and Hayden Gibson; and his sisters, Tina Dineen (Bob) and Anita Pipkin (Bill).
