He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence White and Virginia White. He is survived by: his wife Nancy White (Guy); his children, Katherine White (Katie) of Nashville, Kendall White Elsass (Noah) of Hendersonville and Annie White Williams (Joe) of Thompsons' Station; his grandchildren, Henry, Oliver Elsass and Andie Kate Williams; his sister Jane Larmon White; and his niece Virginia of Massachusetts.
Due to the pandemic, a private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Nature Conservancy to honor his love of all living things.
