It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Barnes of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, born in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Dale Barnes and Mary Sue Wright Barnes; and his brother-in-law David Sharpton. He is survived by: his spouse Dorris Davis; his daughter Candice Nelson (Joel) of Gallatin; his siblings, Ron Barnes of Columbia, Mike Barnes (Duane) of Santa Fe, Vickie Steward of Santa Fe, Kim Sharpton of Culleoka and Mark Amis (Geraldine); his granddaughter Anna Hope Nelson; and his nephews, Clay Barnes and Will Steward.
In lieu of flowers, it was Dale's requests that memorial donations be made in the form of canned goods to the Maury County Harvest Food Pantry: 419 West 9th Street, Columbia, TN 38401.
