She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Yundt and Bertha Yundt; and her husband Lloyd Pate. She is survived by: her daughters, Rachel McDonald (Terry) and Dianna Chambers (Alton); her sister Sally Yundt Faulkner; and her grandchildren, Christopher McDonald, Michael McDonald, Emily Pate Coatney (Ryan) and Jackson Lee Chambers (Sophia). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
She suffered with Alzheimer's disease for many years but she never let that define who she was.
