She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Emerson Hammond and Celeste Lou Clubbs Hammond; and her siblings, Arsula Cunningham, Wiley E. Hammond Jr., James Levi Hammond, Lucy Nell Bellar, Kathern Palframan and William C Hammond.
She is survived by: her sons, Woodrow Wilson "Rusty" Atwood, III and Alan Wayne Atwood; her siblings, Letty Hammond Boucher and Jerry Walter Hammond; and her grandchildren, Andrea M. Atwood, Garret D. Atwood and Sara Jean Atwood.
