Carlene Bass Phillips Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlene Bass Phillips of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dahlia Mai Smartt and Robert Frank Bass; and her husband James Richard Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Gayle Sanders (Keith), Evelyn Joy Harris (Melvin) and Richard "Ric" Eugene Phillips (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Michael Kornmeyer, Cathy Walls, Brenton Harris, Arin Harris, Richard Lawrence "Rick" Phillips, Bethanie Buchan and Elizabeth Johnston. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
