He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Jenkins and Clara Dismon Jenkins; his sisters, Paulette Belew, Jewel Jenkins and Clara Stewart; his nephews, Jamie Belew, Tom Stewart and Greg Jenkins; and his niece Sherry Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Cathey Cavender Jenkins; his daughters, Lisa Jenkins Osborne (Bill) and Tami Jenkins Swindell (David); his granddaughters, Dr. Kathryn O. Newman (Luke) and Nikki Clifton; his great grandchildren, Ava May Newman, Aiden Matthew Clifton and Sarah Jane Newman; and his siblings, Faye Patterson (Carney), Cathy Elrod and Neil Jenkins.
