The passing of Bettye Jo Sanders of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, born in Old Hickory, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanton Gibbs and Eva Johnson Gibbs; and her sister Mary Elizabeth Roberts (Bill). She is survived by: her husband Owen Sanders; her children, Sheri Calonge (Terry), Teri Sanders and Eric Sanders (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Scot Calonge, Ryan Calonge, Erica Myers (Lee) and Jenna Sanders; her great grandchildren, Tanner Calonge, Presley Calonge, Greyson Calonge, Camden Calonge, Lyla Myers, Lucy Myers and Nolan Myers; and her sister Linda Briggs (Wayne).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Connell Memorial United Methodist Church (113 Church St, Goodlettsville, TN 37072).
