Betty Ruth Knowles Obituary
Betty Knowles age 68 of Goodlettsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022, at Tristar Skyline Medical Center.
Betty loved her family and friends whole-heartedly. After meeting Betty, three things would be apparent; she loved cooking, her Harley Davidson F-150 and Jesus Christ! In the words of her husband Richard, "it was genuinely difficult to find fault in Betty and she truly loved God".
In addition to her parents Elzie Rippy and Elizabeth Earwood, Mrs. Knowles is preceded in death by many of her eleven siblings and stepsons' Jeremy and Joushua Knowles.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard Knowles; children Stacy Hamblin (Tina), Jason Hamblin, and Kelly Hazzard (Adam); grandchildren Jessica Hamblin, Oksana Knowles, Dessie Knowles, Tamara Knowles, Michael Standley Jr., Matthews Byington, Richard Granthem, and Cheyenne Miller; and a host of great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, from 4 to 8pm in the State room of Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8th from 11am until noon. Betty's service will begin at 12pm and will also be held at Cole and Garret in Goodlettsville. A burial will follow immediately at the Whitehill Community Church Cemetery in Millersville, Tn.
