She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Smith and Elsie Gibson Smith; and her husband Kenneth Butterworth. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Vaughn and Sandra Shults (William); her siblings, Barbara Hardin (Boyd) and Wayne Smith (Monica); and her grandchildren, Chris Vaughn (Melissa), Daniel Vaughn (Mary), Merissa Christian (Matthew), Meghan Shults and William Shults (Kyle). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
