She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Vaughan Sr.; her parents, James Bedford and Nellie Maybelle Thompson; her siblings, Marilyn Butts, Nellie Coker, Ruth Martin, Marie Thompson and Woodrow Thompson; and her great grandchild Ethan Petty.
She is survived by: her son Charles Vaughan Jr.; her granddaughter Leeann Vaughan; her great grandchildren, Dylan and Caden Petty; and her sisters, Mildred Minchey and Elaine Avaritt.
