She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Prohaska and Jerry Prohaska of Franklin, KY.; and her husband Douglas Atwood of Goodlettsville, TN.. She is survived by: her children, Beth Atwood of Franklin, TN, Kevin Atwood (Colleen) of Nashville, TN and Cheryl Atwood of Franklin, TN; her sister Patsy Pitt of Franklin, KY; and her granddaughters, Rachel Springman of Jackson, WY and Emily Springman of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
