He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Chappell Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Chappell; his mother Alice Chappell of Gleason, TN.; his sons, Charles Chappell (Marie) of Gleason, TN and Jonathan Chappell (Amanda) of Humboldt, TN.; and his grandchildren, Keeley and Emma Chappell.
