He was predeceased by: his former wife Patsy Oliver; his son Jeff Oliver; his brothers, Terry Oliver and Paul Oliver; and his brother-in-law Larry Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Anita K. Oliver; his son Jay Oliver (Claire); his stepdaughters, Shelley Bowers (Monte) and Courtney Baker (Scott); his siblings, David Oliver (Beverly) and Sandra Ray; and his sisters-in-law, Marsha Oliver and Beth Oliver. He is also survived by three granddaughters, and two grandsons.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, gifts or food that donations be made to Dresden Elks Lodge Tornado Relief Fund***.
