He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean Esch; his parents, Leland Esch and Edith Esch; and his brothers, Jerry Wayne Esch and Bobby Esch.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Ward (Jim) of McKenzie, Cheri Wharton of Gleason and Shey Esch (Janet) of Gleason, TN.; and his sisters, Peg Stewart of Gleason and Patty Tiley of Medina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
