He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Matz of Gleason, TN; his children, Mandy Hatela (Adam) of Gallatin, TN and Shannon Matz of South Fulton, TN; and his grandchildren, Emily Matz of South Fulton, TN, Aidan Hatela of Gallatin, TN, Jamie Krupa of South Fulton, TN and Addison Hatela of Gallatin, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
