She was predeceased by: her parents, John Homer Bingham and Flora Estes Butler; her husband William Fay Essary; her sisters, Melba R. Bingham Campbell of Saltillo, TN and Lou Dean Garrard of Savannah, TN; and her niece Sharon Campbell Atkin of Savannah, TN..
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Essary Jackson (Alan) of Dresden, TN; her brother Wayne Bingham (Linda) of Collierville, TN; and her granddaughters, Christie Parrish of Martin, TN and Jennifer Parrish McAlpin (Kevin) of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Betty's honor to Tumbling Creek Baptist Church.
