It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bettye Jean Loggins McCaffrey Ellis formerly of Gibson, Tennessee, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Wilson and Grace Edwards Loggins, Sr.; and her siblings, Wilson, Phillip and Helen.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. John W. Ellis of Dyer; her children, Gwen McCaffrey McReynolds (Gene) and John R. McCaffrey; her grandson Adam McCaffrey McReynolds (Su); her great grandchildren, Max and Logan McReynolds; and her friend Betty Jane King Brackeen (Jim).
Due to COVID restrictions the family has chosen to forgo visitation.
