She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie Joe and Agnes Guy; and her siblings, Josephine Norman (Willie), Bessie Guy and John Albert Guy.
She is survived by: her son Xavier Jamal Patterson (Sherika); her grandchildren, Antonio Smith, Aidan and Amerie Patterson; and her siblings, Allie Joe Guy, Jr. (Audrey), David Guy (Maxine), Dorothy Jackson (Ray), Dr. Hattie Isen (Edward), Ann Anderson (Cleo) of Memphis and Virgie Neville (John) of Des Moines. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and relatives.
