He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Edward Ayres, Jr. and Evelyn Thompson; and his daughter Hannah Catherine Ayres. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Morgan and Cooper Ayres (Liz); his sister Beth Campbell (Bill); and his stepchildren, Kendall Gibson and Taylor Gibson.
