She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thaxton and Ruth Thaxton. She is survived by: her husband Howard "Gene"; her daughters, Dana Payne (Tom) of Bartlett, Sheri Jones (Brian) of Sugar Land, TX and Lisa Peacock (Brad) of Chelsea, AL; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey Jones, Lauren and Will Peacock; and her sisters-in-law, Dolores Dennard and Lynn Dickinson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
