It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Jack Parnell of Germantown, Tennessee, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther A Parnell and Allie L Parnell; and his siblings, Lois Mims, Louise Crowley, Buford Parnell and Bernard Parnell.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Parnell; his children, Chris Parnell of Los Angeles and Cindy Howard of Memphis; his grandchildren, Haley Howard, Damian Parnell and Harry Parnell; his children-in-law, Brad Howard and Natasha Parnell; his nieces and nephews, Charlotte Bursi, Debbie Childs, Sandra Crowley, Gina Loftin, Theresa Rushing, Mary Danna Seese, Carl Mims, David Rauchle, Mike Rauchle and Jerry Rauchle; and his caregivers, Linda Payne and Laterria Gosa.
