With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Ann Witherspoon Galey of Germantown, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee Witherspoon (Todd) and Mary Estell Danner Witherspoon; her husband George Gordon Galey; and her siblings, Patty, Martha Jo, Jimmy, Noble and Ronnie.
She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Alan Galey (Veronica), Stephanie Galey Haeger and George Gordon Galey, II; and her grandchildren, Jason Haeger (Aline), Daniel Galey, Allison Galey (Jason), Lauren Elizabeth Berretta (Jeremy), Elisa Galey and Christina Marie Galey. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
