He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Weill Haas; his sister Nancy Briggs; his stepfather Marcus Loeb Haas; and his father Edgar Cyrus Haas, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sheri Babcock Haas; his son Sami N. Haas (Shelby McMillian); and his uncle Curt Ward.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to American Diabetes Association, MIFA or a charity of the donor's choice.
